Dawn, Justin, and Joshua
This month we would like for you to get to know the Ledesma family—Dawn, Justin, and Joshua. The Ledesmas have been attending Grace Baptist Church since September 1995 when they moved to Florida to be with her father and step-mother, Frank & Carmen Giliberti. While going through marriage counseling, Dawn shared that God began working in her to bring her to an awareness of her need for Christ, leading to repentance and faith in Him.
While Dawn does not have a favorite Bible verse, she says that she loves the Psalms. Since joining Grace, Dawn stated that she has
“learned more than I could ever put into words. God has blessed Grace with wonderful people and great teachers of His word. I feel like I’ve learned mostly how to trust God in all things and look to my brothers and sisters in Christ especially for prayer.”
When asked about her growth as a Christian mother, Dawn shared that she has learned to submit to God and allow Him to guide her life, to follow Him and try to teach her boys to do the same, namely, that God is trustworthy and true. Certainly there are challenges that Dawn, as a single mother, faces. Dawn explains:
“The greatest challenge for me has been to be a mother and father—to attempt to fulfill both biblical roles and bring correction alone. My only advice to anyone in my situation is to trust God, be strong and faithful, as God will give us strength for whatever we have to face. I also believe that if it weren’t for my church family, I don’t know where our family would be today.”
If there was one word to describe Grace, Dawn said “truth” because “we heard the Word of God and no one can take that from us.” Justin, the older of the two boys, has enjoyed hanging out with other boys his age, and Joshua likes playing basketball and other games with the kids.
We would ask you to join in praying specifically for the Ledesma family in the following areas that Dawn provided:
1. The struggle to raise her boys in godly manner
2. Strength that she will not waiver in her faith but always trusting God and living a life pleasing to Jesus
3. The salvation of her two sons—Justin and Joshua

When Jesus asked the question, "Who do you say that I am?" He was asking a question that we all have to answer. As Christians, we have one message to believe and one message to tell--the gospel of Jesus Christ. What God has accomplished for sinners through His Son Jesus Christ in His life, death, and resurrection is not only central to who we are but sufficient for all that we do. If you have never heard of this gospel, we encourage you to consider the two ways to live. In this presentation, you will understand who God is, what He has done, and why it is absolutely necessary for you to turn to Jesus and trust in Him.
When you come to one of our meetings expect to be greeted and welcomed by people just like you.
